Install M.2 NVMe SSDs for SSD caching acceleration. PCIe Gen 5 is backward compatible with PCIe Gen 4 / PCIe Gen 3 for flexible deployment.
2.5GbE and 10GbE as standard

The TS-h1277AXU-RP comes with two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 5 slots that allow for installing NVMe SSDs (including WD®, Micron®, Seagate®, Kingston®) to boost NAS performance. PCIe Gen 5 is backwards compatible with PCIe Gen 4 / PCIe Gen 3 for flexible SSD deployment.
M.2 SSD sold separately. Due to limited space, you should remove large heatsinks from M.2 SSDs and replace them with QNAP’s M.2 SSD heatsink before installing in the TS-h1277AXU-RP.
Abundant I/O capabilities with PCIe Gen 4 expansion
The TS-h1277AXU-RP has three PCIe Gen 4 slots (twice the bandwidth of PCIe Gen 3) that allow for installing various expansion cards for expanding application potential.
